SHARK software
Storage in the LogiMat vertical lift

Another extremely powerful property in Logimate is the opportunity to work with Logimate carts in all areas that have radio coverage (e.g. receipt and dispatch section).
This means that the process of filling up Logimate, or co-packaging of deliveries to customers may be performed without any loss of productivity in connection with the vertical lifts. Furthermore, the storing in LogiMat vertical lifts may be prepared and optimized in order to minimize the amount of time spent at the vertical lifts.

The brain of Logimate (the Shark software solution) ensures that all Logimate carts on the storage premises will be recognized and ready for work at all times.

Filling of carts
One or several Logimates will be filled up with items in the reception area. Shark will guide the employee through this process as efficiently as possible.

The carts are driven to the LogiMat vertical lifts
At this point (or at your convenience) the carts will be taken to the Logimates for the purpose of stock input activities. Shark is already aware of the items and will have calculated the fastest and most efficient storing method in advance.

Storing of items
This process is identical to the process described in “Picking from the LogiMat”, only in reverse order.

Further procedure
Once all items have been stored the Logimate carts will again proceed to the reception area in order to be refilled, or may continue to other parts of the storage premises for further stock input activites (read more on the page headed "In the warehouse").
